The Personal Success Plan provides an intensive education in photography with a personal touch. Group lessons can be great - and the hundreds of students we've taught over the years would agree, we hope. Sometimes, though, you might want more. More time. More personal attention. More lessons that address your unique questions and needs.

Our Personal Success Plan is designed to help.

Rather than being offered in a group setting, this membership consists of weekly private lessons. Each lesson can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your needs. We'll meet at a mutually agreed upon time, eliminating the hassle of fitting a pre-scheduled class into your busy life.

Our purpose is to help you pinpoint and grow your strengths, while giving you the knowledge and practice time to help you master any areas where you struggle. We help you to find your path and then, as the Personal Success Plan progresses, gently guide you so that you stay focused on that path, tuning out distractions and hewing your own way.

When you become a Personal Success Plan member, we’ll work together to supercharge your learning.

The material we cover will depend on you: your needs, your chosen path, and the areas where you feel you need guidance.

We'll start by looking at the big picture: what are you trying to accomplish? What is your personal vision of success with photography? With that established, together we'll decide the next steps that will get you to where you want to be. We'll break down any areas where you feel challenged. We'll talk through your specific questions - you know, the ones that might get a mention in a group class, but maybe not be given the attention you need to really understand. We might go on photo shoots together to give you the chance to practice your skills in the real world, with someone there to coach you through potential pitfalls. There may even be assignments that we can review at our next session, so you can see how you do on your own.

And we don't have to confine our sessions to just the nuts and bolts of operating your camera well. We can talk about photo editing, if that's where your questions lie.
